When Urian and I asked each other which books of the Bible we should continue to share from now that Galatians and Ephesians were done, we looked to 1st and 2nd Timothy. In the ESV, the famous NIV rendering of “Fight the good fight” takes on a deeper meaning when it can also be translated as “fight the good warfare”. Warfare – battle – not just a mere fight, but something that has a large scale implication requiring many little fights, ups and downs, advances and retreats, and a consistent strategy. I will be sharing from 1st Timothy this Sunday, followed by the rest of you on successive Sundays by Urian and then followed by the ladies.
So, in the midst of our spiritual war, continue to pray. Read the next 2 chapters in the book of Acts so we can share what the Lord is teaching us.
